$181 Million Winning Lottery Numbers

I play the same lottery numbers every week. I buy a Mega Millions and Powerball ticket hoping to win even a fraction of the jackpot. Everything I purchased a ticket I imagine how the lives of my husband and I would change for the better.

Now I'm not talking about flashy things like a big house or fancy cars. No, I dream of paying off debt, fixing up our current house, and paying off my 2021 Kia Seltos. Alright, maybe I will trade that in because it's already been stolen once and I'm tired of worrying about it.

My point is that I don't want or need the fancy things. I just want to fix the things in my life now then start a business and invest. I definitely would love the opportunity to get out of this work rut, but nothing too extravagant. With every ticket purchase, I feel like it will be my day.

Of course, I was proven wrong time and time again.

That is until yesterday when the Mega Millions jackpot was a whopping $181 Million. I couldn't believe it. As I sat there staring at each number being drawn on the screen, I couldn't believe what was happening. The numbers that I played so often that they were drilled in my memory were finally coming up.

My heart raced and tears poured down my face. My hands began to shake and I started to hyperventilate. The room started to spin and wasn't sure if I was awake. This had to be a dream because this couldn't have possibly happened.

I sat there trying to calm myself down, wiping away tears only to make room for more. My heart felt like it was going to break through my chest. I tried to make a noise but no sound came out. My husband sat feet from me with headphones on playing his video game. He had no idea what had just happened.

After what seemed like an eternity, I finally was able to get a sound out. I screamed, "OH MY GOD!!!"
